Bill Keller

Op-Ed Columnist, The New York Times

For eight years, Keller was the executive editor for The New York Times. In 2011, he stepped down and now writes an Op-Ed column for the newspaper as well as for the The New York Times Magazine. He has written on a wide range of topics including the collapse of the Communist rule that occurred from 1986 to 1991, for which he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize, and the end of white rule in South Africa. He is the author of The Tree Shaker: The Story of Nelson Mandela.
