Fox is a Republican mouthpiece. I disagree. If this were 100 percent accurate, then Fox would have been equally as favorable to Ron Paul, which they have not. It is not about party, Democrat, Republican, are two sides of the same coin in most cases. A paradigm. I think you may be misusing the term ‘hypocrite,’ as it denotes one who engages in some action or holds some belief whilst denouncing that action/belief. Even if those networks had a strong liberal bias – were ‘DNC mouthpieces – in order to support your claim of hypocrisy you would have to show that we caused their bias while denouncing FOX’s.
As to their bias itself, people perceive such a thing right now because, on many if not most issues, the current Democratic policy and platform are more consistent with what people want and, frankly, with rationality, than are their Republican counterparts. In the 2006 elections we saw that there was a national feeling of sympathy towards the Democrats and their goals, and in these primaries we’ve seen Obama, who is the most progressive candidate on the field, have a level of success that has boggled the pundits. Any network that gives equal time to both sides in such a climate is going to be perceived as liberally biased. Now, for a medium that is inarguably liberally biased, you need look no further than Air America – it serves as a far better counterpart to FOX, though woefully undersized in comparison, than any of the media networks you mentioned.
Incidentally, fascism and liberalism are incompatible, and in my experience, we Democrats tend to be far too busy with being bleeding hearts to spare time for hatred.

I grew up on the far south side of Chicago in an integrated neighborhood where everyone got along until the then-radical (or still) messages black leaders started getting attention. These “leaders” included Elijah Muhammad and Jesse Jackson (Chicago) and black power advocates H. Rap Brown, Eldridge Cleaver, and Bobby Seal. Rev. Jeremiah Wright was a contemporary of Jesse Jackson at the time, and still sounds like the others did in the 1960′s–and this man was (is?) the mentor of Barack Obama. All of this is historical fact, but is getting lost in all the hoopla. I speak as a lifelong moderate Democrat.

Obama is a great speaker. Man he really is. But, that will only take you so far. He has got no real statistics of really doing anything. 18 months as a junior senator from Illinois. McCain is a man with statistics and support from both parties. McCain is known as a man of integrity and honor. Both parties know this and he has proven statistics of being a maverick and not going with the establishment of his own party (I like that ). Because of this he will pull a HUGE chunk of the Independents and will in fact draw blue dog democrats.
