Brave New Films is looking for a Super Volunteer to coordinate our Intern program. This would be a great position for someone who is interested in becoming a part of a great team and has 10 hours a week to volunteer. We are looking for someone who can commit nine months to working in this volunteer position as we would like them to become very comfortable developing the program.
The Intern Coordinator volunteer will be responsible for advertising for interns on job/volunteer websites and through making contact with local colleges and universities. The Intern Coordinator will do preliminary interviews with intern candidates and then introduce them to the staff member who they would report to. They will also keep a schedule of interns’ days/hours and help to make sure all the interns are integrated into Brave New Films’ work.
Applicants should have strong people skills. They should have a base understanding of progressive social issues and a personal commitment to social change. They must be flexible, detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic.
Time Commitment: We are looking for someone who can commit 10 hours a week for nine months.
This is an unpaid position.
