In case you didn’t know, Faux News has had a crazy hate-on for us left wing bloggers (and our readers) for a long time — the recent hysterical assaults by Bill “Negligee Situation” O’Reilly on DailyKos are just the latest examples. Faux seeks to frighten its viewers (who are disproportionately elderly and, most likely, not tech savvy) into thinking that progressive bloggers and netroots activist sites like MoveOn are nothing more than havens for extremists, hatemongerers, liars, and genocidal maniacs.
Faux Noise doesn’t know who they’re messing with.
If they want to pick this fight with the progressive blogosphere, they’re going to get it.

You actually get more goofs, like labelling Mark Foley, Ted Stevens, John McCain, and Mark Sanford as DEMOCRATS, for starters. Sure, people make mistakes and news networks are no exception, but most networks acknowlegde their mistakes, make public corrections, and apologize for their mistake. For some reason I have yet to fathom, Fox news NEVER does this.

Notice when Fox's On The Record program is on: 10 PM eastern time, somewhat later than the “primetime” O'Reilly.

foxnoise “works” only if you're easily scared. And unfortunately the vast majority of their viewers are elderly. It's a shame they don't see through the fright tactics, whether it be the so called “death panels”, their guns “taken away”, or “losing their constitutional rights” which foxnoise easily plays into their hands. Their purpose is to keep their audience ignorant and make the democrats look bad and make the republicans look good in every way possible.
The only “cure” is to switch the channels and watch a variety of different networks, and listen to NPR: you know, REAL fair and balanced news coverage from REAL journalists, NOT the phony jingoistic yellow stories that foxnoise try to pass as “news”.
