But a film coming out this week aims to show that they're perfectly willing to put their own thumbs on the scales of other people's freedom, often with heartbreaking consequences.

A Republican lawmaker is raising concerns over the fact that Democrats are planning to host the premiere of an anti-Koch brothers documentary in a taxpayer-funded room in the Capitol on Tuesday.

Rep. Candice Miller, the chairwoman of the House Administration Committee, wrote to Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Monday saying a scheduled film screening of an anti-Koch brothers movie in the Capitol Visitor Center is violating House and Senate rules.

Plans by top Democrats to highlight a film critical of the billionaire Koch brothers at the Capitol Visitors Center this week may violate House rules and should be reconsidered, according to the head of the House committee that oversees the day-to-day running of the chamber.
