Director of the Project on Government Secrecy at the Federation of American Scientists
Aftergood is a senior research analyst at the Federation of American Scientists as well as director of the FAS Project on Government Secrecy. He works on confronting government secrecy in order to promote and reform the current secrecy practices. He has authored numerous papers in multiple magazines including Scientific American and Science. For his work, he has received multiple awards including the Electronic Frontier Foundation Pioneer award in 2010.
