Ed says: ” I believe he killed Americans, that's all I need to know.” No Ed that is not all you need to know. We went to war to defend “rebels” with toy guns. Why in heavens name did they start a violent rebellion. Things went well in Egypt because the citizens did not take up arms. Non violence is the only hope for those who long for democracy.

With the hundreds of problems that we have in this Country that we need to resolve; Unemployment, Foreclosures, Huge Deficit, Health and Immigration, among dozens more, the last thing we need right now is to wage another war. This war, if needed, should be waged by the Arab Countries with their own soldiers, their own planes and most of all, with their own money. Instead, we are paying higher and higher gas prices, and in the process, enriching Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain among a few. If we should have to defend the Libyan people against their corrupt dictator, the least we can expect is that the $ 300 million per week that we are supposedly spending in this new war should be immediately repaid back to us by the Arab league.

There was no other choice, Kadafi's army was just on the side skirts of Benghazi, threatenning to kill all rebels (everybody on the city!), one by one, we had to act quickly. We have ways and money enough to stop blood sheds. That was the right thing to be done!
To consult congress would be to open a space of long discussions that Kadafi's army was not going to wait.
I really appreciate the conduct of our Honorable President! He is impecable!
Lybia's people are very courageous and they really deserve a better life, they are our human brothers and sisters and we need to stretch out to help them.
