Director of Foundation Development

Brave New Films is looking to hire a very experienced smart, passionate, self-motivated activist to serve as a Director of Foundation Development.

The primary focus of the Director of Foundation Development is to plan, write, and coordinate all activities related to grant writing, reporting, and fund development, while also maintaining positive relationships with foundation providers and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position is able to open doors for Brave New Films, build new relationships and at the same time maintain and strengthen relationships with existing foundations.

Offering full-time with benefits but will consider part-time or consultant.  

Job is remote for the time being due to COVID, but when things return to normal, the office is located in Culver City, CA.

Please also include one or two grant proposals you’ve written (please redact names of the orgs or foundations) and a detailed list of the number/ kinds of grants that you have written, and if they have been successful at receiving funding. 

For full-time we are offering base salary at $72,000 per year with higher salary based on experience and would also include benefits of paid time off, and employer-paid health and dental insurance, 401(k) matching.
