Are you a college student with a passion for storytelling and media? Do you want to be on the front lines of the fight for democracy in the 2024 election year? Are you hungry to make a difference and ensure that our nation moves forward, avoiding a return to divisive ideologies?
This is your opportunity to contribute to meaningful change. Brave New Films is seeking a few passionate students to join our team for an unpaid internship in the upcoming spring semester to help produce a series of short videos aimed at engaging youth voters in the 2024 presidential election. We will be partnering with major voting outreach organizations, celebrities, and social media influencers to help this campaign have a wide reach.
Position 1: Media and Research Interns (2 Positions)
The Media and Research internship responsibilities will include investigative research, monitoring media, and helping identify and craft compelling stories around issues that are most critical to a younger generation of voters.
- Conducting investigative research on key issues
- Monitoring traditional and social media for relevant news and information
- Assisting with transcript preparation and analysis
- Helping construct stories that will engage young voters
Position 2: Motion Graphics and Animation Intern (1 Position)
Motion Graphics/Animation interns will help create engaging and impactful visual content to support our campaign. They will collaborate with our team to produce compelling animations that highlight key social issues and bring a creative touch to our projects. Any applicants with a strong sense of creativity and visual storytelling through video are encouraged to apply, animation skills not necessarily a pre-requisite.

Internship Details:
- Unpaid internship for college credit at an accredited university.
- Roughly 10 hours per week, fully remote with a flexible schedule.
- Ideal candidates will be based in Los Angeles, but location is not a requirement.
