Kimberly Flores was born and raised in South LA to Mexican immigrant parents and is the youngest of 6 children. During high school, she attended Med-core at USC to prepare herself for a career in medicine. However, after graduating in the top 4% of her class and obtaining a guaranteed acceptance to a University of California school of her choice, she decided to pursue her creative passions and studied film production at UC Santa Cruz. With a strong background in her local punk rock scene and having fronted her own band, she excelled at interning for Warner Bros Records where she helped film and edit behind the scenes footage for artists such as Jason Derulo, Avenged Sevenfold, and Cher. Although working in the music industry was an invaluable experience, she continued to cultivate her skills in projects centered around marginalized people such as women, minorities, and subcultures. She concluded her film studies at King’s College London and hopes to ultimately touch people though her unique talents and vision.
