Program Coordinator for Film Screenings

Brave New Films (BNF) is looking for a Program Coordinator dedicated to social justice and interested in growing our Film Screenings program at our small but impactful nonprofit. As Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and implementation of our Film Screenings program that is focused on facilitating film screenings with educators (middle school through college), faith communities (all denominations), civic advocacy organizations, nonprofits, and individuals around the country. Our Screenings program has been steadily growing on a national level for over eight years and you will be the first point of contact for Program participants as they sign-up, organize, and host their screening. 


Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Provide support to all program participants with a focus on providing excellent customer service to cultivate an active and sustaining base to participate in the Screenings program. 
  • Maintain and strengthen necessary systems, processes, and tools to support program participants, deliver screening resources as efficiently and effectively as possible, drive new online signups, and ensure that the CRM system provides an effective ladder of engagement based on our long-established online signup process. 
  • Help to expand data-informed strategies and optimize the online sign-up process to further bolster and expand our program through outreach.
  • Assist with CRM management and input data to document and track program outcomes by gathering feedback from participants after each screening and work closely with specific participants to secure impact stories, thank you letters, quotes, anecdotes, and pictures to demonstrate the impact of our program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


The successful candidate should have at least two years of experience working in digital marketing/communications or experience working with a nonprofit/advocacy organization that utilized an online signup and engagement strategy to successfully run programs or conduct outreach. You will also have a robust knowledge of CRM management, email marketing tools, and organizational processing skills to coordinate a large volume of online screening sign-ups. Technical skills are also required including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook), Google Apps, Document Management, Adobe Acrobat, and a general understanding of cloud platforms.

Job Types: Full-time 
Pay: $52,000 salary per year

Work Location: On Location in Culver City, CA 

COVID-19 Precaution(s): All interviews will be conducted Remotely. Our office will be reopening in June/July 2021 and the plan is to return to the office when it is safe to do so in Los Angeles County. It is anticipated that by the time this interview process is completed this position will start in the office/on location.
