Associate Producer
We are looking for an organized, experienced Associate Producer with basic editing skills to support our documentary and short-form video projects.
This is a hands-on role involving editing, production coordination, research, and administrative support.
The Associate Producer will help maintain schedules, calendars, deadlines, production documents, and project trackers; coordinate meetings and production logistics; conduct research; work on interviews and shoots; and provide basic post-production support, including stringouts and selects and sometimes more.
Responsibilities
- Editing: Create basic stringouts and selects and more if able.
- Organize production files, documents, and contact information
- Conduct in-depth research for documentary and social media projects
- Take basic ideas and convert into beatsheets/outlines/scripts
Qualifications
Production or media experience is absolutely required. We are looking for someone who has actually worked on film, video, journalism, documentary, or related projects.
Candidates should have:
- Basic video editing experience
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment and hard work
- Interest in social justice documentary filmmaking

Position Details
Salary: Starting at $60,000/year with possible increase based on previous experience/salary
Employment: Regular Full-Time, Exempt
