In this supposed "land of the free," you can be arrested for sleeping on the streets and sent to jail for not being able to pay a parking ticket. All while our government tortures people without a trial and kills their own unarmed citizens through police brutality and excessive force.

A justice system should protect all citizens and punish those who break the laws. But currently, it goes after the poor and disenfranchised, while letting illegal torturers and murderous cops roam free.

Let's start criminalizing and punishing real crimes, not poverty!
