Jennifer Hill is an Army veteran and former police officer. She is one of the 10% of the Thunderbolt County population knocked off the role in the summer of 2017 because her name didn't appear in the water utility records (Jennifer's partner's name was on the water bill). Jennifer and her wife received a letter from the State saying that Jennifer needed to prove that she had the right to vote -- that she had been purged. She took to Facebook and the ACLU contacted her and challenged the rule, which caused Thunderbolt County to back down and rescind their water bill policy.
