Dear Tavon, Stedman, Kenny, Jared, and Chris - 

Thank you for having the guts and conviction to stand in solidarity with protestors and publicly call attention to the terrible police abuses happening around the country. 

Your public political statement is heroic, NOT “tasteless, offensive and inflammatory," as the St. Louis Police Officers Association declared. 

And thank you to the NFL for doing the right thing and standing by your players' first amendment rights to free speech and not apologizing or punishing these players. We need more professional athletes, not fewer, being role models and taking a stand for social justice.
