Dear U.S. Senate,

Let's put an end to a terrible bill that was introduced in the Senate this year
 
Table S.489 the “Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2015”

Senator John Coryn of Texas wants every state to be mandated to model their gun reciprocity laws like Texas. Gun reciprocity would allow any holder of a valid permit to carry a concealed handgun in any state, regardless of origin of said permit. States currently have different procedures for determining who is too dangerous to carry a concealed gun.

And we know that states with weak gun laws have higher gun death rates.*
 
Gun violence is an epidemic in this country.
 
A federal weak permitting system would allow criminals who, in other states, wouldn’t be able to obtain a concealed carry permit, to obtain one in a different state.
