S. Rae Peoples is a dedicated mother, education administrator, and social activist. Her work is deeply rooted in the belief that the narratives and experiences of people from traditionally silenced and oppressed communities have the power to create and execute strategies to effect change in their communities. With a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science, and an M.A. in College Student Personnel, she has served as a student affairs practitioner in postsecondary education for over 20 years. A native of California with a Midwest upbringing, S. Rae currently enjoys life with her son...and two feral cats that seem to have claimed her as “their human.”
