Social Media Internship - Fall 2026

Brave New Films is seeking a Social Media Intern to learn how digital communities are built and engaged in an advocacy setting.

Brave New Films is a nonprofit social justice media organization committed to nonpartisan advocacy on urgent human rights issues—including war, racial justice, climate change, reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ rights, voting rights, and economic inequality. With over one million active social media followers and hundreds of millions of views annually, we use film and digital storytelling to educate, engage, and drive meaningful change. Our mission is championing social justice issues by using media to inspire, empower, motivate, engage and teach civic participation that makes a difference.  Our goal is to support the active civic engagement of an informed citizenry by calling attention to important issues through non-partisan social media production and our ingenious multi-platform distribution network.

This is a training-based internship designed for educational purposes. Interns are supervised and do not independently manage accounts or replace paid staff.
