Film screening, discussion, let's organize! Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 5th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm for a 3-part event about fighting voter suppression.
*We'll be watching the film Suppressed: The Fight to Vote, documenting unfair election practices in Georgia (38 min).
*Discussion after the film screening with Quentin Palfrey (pictured left), an attorney who recently founded the Voter Protection Corps, a new lawyer-driven organization that is building a state-by-state playbook to combat voter suppression. In 2008, he was the Ohio Voter Protection Director for the Obama campaign.
Will include Q & A.
*Following the screening and discussion, we will talk about activist opportunities for working to combat voter suppression and support Fair Elections! Includes organizing and resources to get involved.
Sponsored by ACT TOGETHER 2020 and Boston Workers Circle.
