Dear President Obama,

We applaud you for taking action today to keep Americans safe. 

Thank you for considering an executive order to expand background checks, to bring the background check system  into the 21st century, and to  help prevent even one  unnecessary loss of life due to  gun violence.

Over 90% of Americans are in support of universal background checks and over 70% of gun owners agree.*

Thank you for your commitment to provide more  advocates to assist those with mental health needs, as well as those suffering from domestic abuse. 

We need to stop being bullied by the NRA and gun companies do what’s best for the American people. And you’ve proven that you’re not afraid to do that today.

THANK YOU for saying enough is enough! Now let’s demand that Congress take action too!
