Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: Ending the profitability of arms sales, the profitability of degradation of the environment, ending the power of foreign actors and corporations in the U.S. government.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: As much as racism is involved, Chauvinism and Russian interference are our downfalls. Change is needed at home.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: I have no idea at this point. But that doesn’t mean I’m not ready to fight for what I believe in.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: First we should take a step back and ask, what did Trump mean when he said that he had a secret on voting day. Is it possible that Elon Musk had access to some of the voting machines in order to have votes go to Republicans instead of Democrats? He has the technological knowledge. I may sound paranoid, but Trump always does exactly what he accuses other people of doing. He lies and cheats. How is it that every venue that Kamala Harris gave her speeches were packed, and they had to turn people away. On the other hand, Trump’s events were sparce. He even made sure that supporters were not able to leave at one of his rallys. The enthusiasm for Kamala was infectious. People are just tired and disgusting with Trump. Please, someone investigate the possibility that this election was not what it appears to be. It doesn’t make sense.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: The self-destruction of the empire called amerikkka has absolutely nothing to do with democrat or republican!
The very foundation of this empire is every EVIL act and/or belief known to man: Hate, theft/stealing, murder, racism, hypocrisy, sexism, GREED as well as any and every UN-Godly concept there is!
The self-righteous SICKNESS, arrogance, insatiable GREED, insanity & hypocrisy of white pseudo-supremacy, racism and capitalism MUST end before we are ALL destroyed !!!
You can holler “God bless amerikkka” all day long. God don’t bless no MESS! And this nation is one HOT mess!
When you start off WRONG, you can only end up WRONG!
Amerkkka was found on an UN-Godly and UN-righteous concept! That concept being: In order for there to be those who HAVE, there MUST be those who have NOT! That is the perfect recipe for crime, homelessness, illiteracy, poverty, disease, civil unrest and all of the ills that plague the nation today !!!

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: The biggest issues that destroyed the Democratic base was border security and Trans issues! Sorry but people don’t want to hear about someone’s sexual preferences or sex reassignment’s. That doesn’t mean we allow discrimination. We protect our lGBTQXYZ by law and culture but stop shoving shit down people’s throats about Trans rights to compete in some sports. People hate that shit!!! Just shut up and realize it takes time to move people.
The border security should have been a top priority for Dems. I left your party after you couldn’t shut up the Trans demands that we all accept their world view and by your failure to secure the border.
But I still voted for Kamala!

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: To get back to focusing on jobs and the economy. Especially the poor, working class and middle class. You can solve social issues by making things good for everyone. As an African American this would be the best way to reach white America who is feeling it’s privilege slipping because of societal changes. It’s inevitable but we need more action and less talk. It shouldn’t be hard because Republicans could care less about those people who make less than 6 figures. Also redouble efforts in getting money out of politics, ie citizens united. This single most thing has helped Republicans convince a large part of the electorate that democrats are evil, socialists, rich elitists and corrupt. They have used fox news and pod casts as well as social media to sow doubt and fear in an uninformed uneducated section of the American people using money from dark sources. Democrats sadly must use money to fight the disinformation and they need to do all of this, starting now. Also try listening to Bernie Sanders and Alex Ocasio Cortez. They are telling you what the constituents want. Try listening.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: One thing not to do is to move towards the center, because there’s hardly anyone there any more. How about pointing out that the record stock market levels reflect record profits based on price rises that take money out of consumers’ pockets. More generally, coalesce around stakeholder capitalism as a long term solution. And don’t pussyfoot around climate change or gun control, but point out that ignoring these problems is killing people. And focus on issues that affect nearly everyone, rather than transgender issues or payments to small businesses. Trump is about to make worse nearly every problem this country has. People will get this after a while — they’re not all rabid maganuts — but we have to reload and keep shooting. So to speak.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: We must work on the climate crisis and tie it to the major facets of our lives, like the ability to feed our families and plan for the future and restore our humanity towards each other. This is a conscience-raising moment for our species and we have to revitalize our institutions, recognizing how important they are to our daily lives and our communities, but only if they are in service to the greater good. We have to fashion a full on assault of corruption and the concentration of wealth and power. We must clearly articulate the threat of oligarchy and make common cause with multi-millionaires and billionaires who recognize the necessity of a society based on common decency, common sense, and common wealth. Finally we have got to find a way to change the media landscape to break our cultural addiction to infotainment and restore our ability to slow down, pay attention to our own emotions and to other people’s experiences, and recognize and celebrate the inescapable fact that we are interconnected with all life on this planet.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: I don’t know if there’s a singular path forward. What I do know is that “doing the same thing over and expecting different results” is not working. There are 2 things on this path that I think must be featured again and again. The first is to address the issue of white women being centered and catered to time and again in our elections. White women who are one of the largest demographics in our country, vote for Trump and Republicans again and again. This time, in spite of the abortion issue which early on featured the horrific experiences of white women in Texas. What then is the reason that white women are not held to account within their cohort. That includes white progressive women who vote blue but blame women of color, specifically black women when the results are not what they want. I am white and I see it over and again. I was deeply active in all things electing blue candidates and especially VP Kamala Harris. In one forum today, (I’m not on social media anymore, but a
Substack of a popular authoritarian expert, I got into a debate about this issue. Someone asked the question “why did women not show up?’. I pointed out that black women did and always do, even after the assault on VP Harris (vile and disgusting name calling and memes), the criticism of her by the media, and the assault of black and brown people generally in this election. The second issue is simple. For the next 4 years we will be forced to face Hannibal Lecter (he told us who he was and represented), the worst kind of predator in digital, television and print media. Any woman or man whose been a victim or on the receiving end of a predator (convicted for assault and yet to be tried for multiple others) recognizes the voice (breathy, confident and condescending), the body language (leans in, grits his teeth, saunters), the words (”Sir", “I alone can fix it”), surrounds themselves by thugs, the actions (constant threats), the instability and the constant manipulation (“don’t vote, I’ll win anyway”). All of these things apply to Vance, Musk, Bannon, Miller and god forbid, RFK, jr. And, for sure all of them are white supremicists and delusional. As history has shown us, the target first will be black and brown people and anyone who tried a defense of an inclusive and democratic society. I am terrified.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: The Democrats need to dismantle and re-assemble into a non-corporate ACTUAL party of the people. They should not have disenfranchised Bernie. They should be progressive populists, with a strong emphasis on working class, and resolving to build affordable housing, etc. That will take care of EVERYONE, and they won’t need to focus so much on things that end up alienating people.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: Democratic party needs to rebrand itself to focus on economics and the working class voters with less emphasis on social issues.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: I think that we need to become more mainstream with average Americans, and support the newly elected administration. Entry of illegal immigrants into our country has gone completely out of control. The censoring of political opposition by the current administration (by partnering with Facebook, YouTube, social media) has also been completely Anti-Democratic. Also, the jailing of almost 300 political protesters for the last few years (who were mostly non-violent) for misdemeaners is not right. I think these are 3 of the most important issues that the Biden/Harris and Harris/Walz teams have gotten completely wrong.

Q: What do you think the path forward is?
A: It is the Democrats who failed more than Trump’s success. There was too much focus on social change and while I support that, the economic issues facing most Americans overwhelm support for transgender, for the poor, for the blacks. It is a similar situation to what Hilary focused on – the wrong stuff for most Americans.
