Call McCain and Call Off the Politics of Hate

Tell McCain to End the Politics of Hate has already received over 395,000 views and 90,000 petition signatures in only a week. This is an impressive start for sure, but we need to raise the stakes because McCain and his supporters have begun smearing Obama with a barrage of inflammatory robocalls.

As despicable as McCain's tactics have become, there's something we can do about it. Call McCain and the RNC using the script below. Let's create such an outcry that it becomes a story in the press, pressuring McCain to curb his sleazy ways.

When you call, please be as polite as possible, and try to stick to the script that our partner Color of Change has provided. I understand your anger over this issue, but it's key to stay composed so that they can't twist our message. And afterward, let us know how it went.

Here are the phone numbers:

McCain/Palin Campaign HQ: 703-418-2008
Republican National Committee: 202-863-8500; then press "3" at the prompt

Here's a brief script you can use:

I have a message for John McCain. I'm outraged that you're escalating your campaign of fear-mongering by using robocalls to try to associate Barack Obama with terrorists. It should come as no surprise that this strategy has led to a dangerous, hateful atmosphere on your campaign trail. I don't want to see Americans divided by fear and hate, and I'm deeply concerned about where this could lead. For the sake of our country, take some responsibility and stop this now.

Let's put a stop to the race-baiting and fear-mongering once and for all. Make the call today.

Fear mongering started decades ago. From communism to terrorism. Profit$ follow. That’s the end game, isn’t it?

Hell, CIA sponsored and financed Al Qaeda endorsing MCCain two weeks before elections?

    What’s next? Wake up people.

I, for one, am beginning to think along much the same lines–even considering the fact of Jerome Corsi from WorldNetDaily having first raised much the same charge earlier this campaign cycle.

Thedailyphosdex – Less than ONE week before the 2004 (s)election, remember Bin Ladin suddenly came alive after American “experts” declared him dead. VIDEO tape and all.

Before the 2006 congressional elections – he sent out several AUDIO tapes and a few since then – to remind us all that he is, despite the odds, is still “alive”. Lost his camcorder!

This same man, who was supposed to have masterminded 9/11 from subterranean caves in Afghanistan, headed the CIA funded Muhajadeen who were fighting the Soviets for almost ten years. Is Al Qaeda STILL funded by the CIA? If so, to what end?

The perpetuation of fear has to be maintained so we can be controlled and manipulated.

Even though I would like to see an Obama presidency – I look at him as almost the same as the whole lot when he also declares “war on terror” and fighting “terror” head on.

I say – charity begins at home. Fight the terror that is being generated to fool a gullible population.

    The implications for history

I hope the deeper message here is heard across this beautiful country. What we cherish the most is threatened by this type of divisive bigotry. The best way to stop this is a DECISIVE vote against this tyranny. It is truly time for Change.

-you must think I’m a fat idiot?
It’s true, I am fat. I’m not too smart
Either so consider me an idiot.”

the brief script above is nicely written. the mccain camp aren’t paying attention to this. they could care-LESS. that’s why they don’t care if they divide americans. that’s why it’s so easy for those words palin spoke about “true americans” and such is flat out ridiculous. for people (americans) to support this behavior and rhetoric – is telling. i’m an american and i can only shake my head at such lack of decency and integrity. mccain and palin lack both. it’s unfortunate americans in the 21st century (the % there are) are still living lies and hate. pathetic. but on point – mccain has been known in the past as “mcnasty” and we can all see why. and you (you know who you are) support him. that’s you, too then. indecent. definitly not christian or God-fearing man.
