“Pakistan is the most dangerous country in the world today.”
- Bruce Riedel, a foreign policy expert leading President Obama’s Afghanistan review
Recent protests in Pakistan reveal the country’s potential explosiveness. Pakistan has nuclear weapons and a government disconnected from the crippling poverty, rampant malnutrition, and lack of healthcare afflicting its people. Though Pakistan remains an ally of the United States, tensions continue to rise as the U.S. considers broadening military strikes within Pakistan’s borders. Part two of our Rethink Afghanistan documentary focuses on how the Afghanistan crisis affects Pakistan and all of us.
How exactly could the war in Afghanistan trigger regional chaos with Pakistan? Leading authorities like Steve Coll, Ahmed Rashid, Cathy Collins, Tariq Ali, Rory Stewart, Stephen Kinzer, and Andrew Bacevich weigh in on this perilous issue. Watch the trailer for part two of this documentary; the full-length version is available here.
The war in Afghanistan and its potentially catastrophic impact on Pakistan are complex and dangerous issues, which further make the case why our country needs a national debate on this now starting with congressional oversight hearings. Sign the petition to help make hearings a critical first step and then send the trailer to all of your friends and family (and be sure to Digg it). Imagine someone like Andrew Bacevich having the ear of Congress as he explains the perils of war. Now imagine a national dialogue filled with rational, thoughtful discussions on the issues surrounding Afghanistan. That is our goal.
Soon, I plan to travel to Afghanistan to interview some of the country’s elected leaders, experts, bloggers, people, and organizations who could help us provide a more complete Afghan perspective, and I would love to have your thoughts and questions to take with me. Please submit them on the Rethink Afghanistan website, and then sign up to follow my updates from this journey.
And you can help us continue this vital work and partake in the filmmaking process by making a contribution of $20 or more. We will list you as a Producer on Rethink Afghanistan. And if you know someone interested in the issues surrounding this war, let them know they can join over 1,000 Producers helping to make this film possible.

USA is most dangerous country in te world for quite some time, creating and fueling wars and disputes on one side, and attacking other countries on the other.
CIA and Pakistan intelligence have close ties for long time. Pakistan is country similar to Afghanistan, with one big difference, it is regional power, like India, and like its eastern neighbour has nuclear weapons and medium range missile capabilities. Most of Pakistan military technology originates from USA, airforce, submarines and number of systems for aerial warfare, while India is oriented to russian and chinese works.
Medium range means Pakistan can attack India, but can not strike USA.
Also, Pakistan is concentrated country, where law and some kind of order can be seen in its souther part, while nort part is ruled by chieftans and tribes.
Imagine that kind of polarity, nuclear weapons, space missions, satelites worked from the south and dark ages on the north.
Pakistan will not attack anybody, unless USA attacks Pakistan.
WillieCoyote is right. The U.S. is the danger. Pakistan doesn't pose a threat to the U.S. – that's silly. The U.S. creates the conditions, provides the weapons, and provokes countries.

fuck pakistan and USA
Well I really thin thats true…They attack at every chance they get…
Pakisthan waits for a chance to attack…
I am not sure if everybody commenting watched the movie. It is nice, but was vague & felt incomplete… It seems to consider everything is Pakistan starts and ends with Aghanistan which might not be true. Wasn't Pakistan committing atrocities against its own population and India before Taliban came into power – YES! Further for some reason China seems to have a soft spot towards Pakistan and tends to cast a blind eye to Pakistan's terrorist motives – compounding all that is their nuclear capability. IMO that entire region of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq is a very volatile and dangerous spot, the earlier it is taken care of, the better for this world and its peaceful existence.

This is the eoijenoweri article I have read in a weeirj
Explain what Serbia has to do with oil.
It is not about oil, but mineral resources, which Milosovich wanted fro himself, but which the cartels – yes also in minerals! – wanted to develop. So he was given a choice he had to refuse and for that he was indicted. Also, for that purpose only the war began.
