A disturbing trend has emerged in the wake of the heightened public attention to the police using excessive force and murdering innocent citizens.

Now instead of protecting and serving, lawmakers and police are pushing to criminalize recording police activity in public.  

If they follow the law, what are they afraid of? 

In order to further wash their hands of accountability cops are using eavesdropping laws to persecute people recording them in public. In 12 states, it is illegal to record audio of police without permission and these states and others are now pushing for further laws criminalizing recording outright.

Enough is enough. We need MORE accountability, not Less!
