No Judge, No Jury, No Trial
Rafiq ur Rehman, a school teacher in North Waziristan pakistan was returning home one evening after buying sweets for his children when he saw a horrific sight - a massive drone strike in his community. The strike killed only one person, Rafiq’s mother, who was picking okra in the field from her home. Not only was Rafiq’s mother killed, but many of his children were brutally wounded in the strike.
No Judge, No Jury, No Trial was released a year after Rafiq and his family traveled to the United States to share their horrific story with members of Congress. To this day, US drones are killing innocent civilians all over the globe and Rafiq and his family have yet to receive answers as to why their grandmother was killed.
