Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: I am happy to support the Harris-Walz ticket because they support workers & unions which in turn support the middle class. My family came from Ireland at a time when companies had signs “ colored & Irish need not apply”. If weren’t for the establishment of the unions my great uncles would not have gotten work. Their policies promote Medicare & Social Security & capping the prescription drug prices which are essentially opportunities at price gouging. As a senior citizen, I am on a fixed budget & need those programs to survive. I think the electoral college needs to be abolished. It is a poor antiquated system & misses the mark on the popular vote. I think the Supreme Court needs to be reformed as it has become an arm of the GOP party & is as corrupt as they are. In education we need to stop banning books & eliminating whole blocks of history that the Christian Nationalists are uncomfortable with. We should reinstate art, music & drama programs. We should make sure that every school has free breakfast & lunch programs for those who need or want it because hungry children can’t learn. I feel it is critical to our democracy to overturn this culture of hate & revenge that threatens us by putting the fascist trump back into power so he can again line his pockets with our money. Our chance of winning & keeping the Constitution, the Rule of Law & our hard fought democracy requires that we come together in unity as a party.

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: The rise of the nazis while the Democrats have little to chat about except abortion – come on! Let’s have socialized medicare for all, socialized public schools, socialized energy, socialized transportation, an end to automobile production and private automobile ownership, and socialized government programs in general instead of the current corrupt privatized nonsense that just costs everyone more money in the midst of growing shortages over the next decade.

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: I appreciate President Biden’s self sacrifice in stepping down and endorsing VP Harris! She is perfectly qualified and will continue to advance the Biden agenda and build upon it! Her pick of Governor Walz was genius! He is authentic and his whole life has been that of serving our country, his community, in Congress being a bipartisan to pass legislation and governor who with his Democratic legislature passed everything that we as democrats wanted to pass federally. VP Harris with her Prosecutor background is perfect to take on the first Felonious Ex President, calling him out on his provable LIES! I am excited because Young adults see Dems want gun safety laws, codifying Roe v Wade, climate solutions and clean air & water, & more!

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: I appreciate BNF’s research and publication of findings re: DT’s encouragement of states to prevent free and fair elections from occuring, his continued stoking of flames with the falsehood that JB did not win the 2020 election, & now some states implementing laws of their own accord calling for the purging of ballots, restricting voting access, etc. Continued uncovering of & reporting on all of the underhanded methods DT & his followers are attempting to rig elections in their favor – along with reporting on states enacting laws requiring public school teachers to teach from the Bible would be much appreciated. I am a Christian; however, I definitely believe in separation of Church & State. Political leaders pushing such exclusive agendas are definitely NOT following the Golden Rule!

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: We The People need more info and air time on what Harris/Walz will DO for the middle class, the working class, and the impoverished. Trump’s blind followers will not pay the least bit attention to the criticism/exposure to the lies, falsehoods and bullying by tRump and JV, as they are so firmly entrenched in the same lies and bovine excrement, it will never register to them that they are detrimental to the future! The TRUTH must be exposed hand in hand with the future of this country and Americans livelihood. Let us (and you all) FOCUS ON THE FUTURE!

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: I am thrilled that the right and truthful messages are getting out. It has been a decade of Trump/MAGA infiltrating our consciousness, and never for a positive outcome. I think the new Dems can help hold Trump accountable for the horrible things he says and the truly anti-Christ things he hopes to perpetrate on our society, for the benefit of the few. The Dems must push back, HARD. Don’t let the conversation be about things surrounding the George Floyd response without calling attention to the January 6 response. Don’t let Walz’s military record be questioned in the face of Trump never even serving! CALL IT ALL OUT! I am more hopeful than ever that Trump will never see the Oval Office again.

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: I feel more confident now that Joe Biden has stepped aside, and I am hopeful that there isn’t a contested convention. I don’t understand why it is so hard to get qualified candidates to represent the people. Why have we let corporations take over our government (including the RNC and DNC). As a resident of NH I am frustrated that our vote doesn’t count for much – especially since Biden pushed to change the calendar and the republican leadership of the state didn’t seem to think changing the law to allow for more flexible voting in the state was a priority. I am nervous about the possible backlash regardless of the outcome in November.

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: First and foremost, absolutely everything needs to be done to make sure Donald Trump is not re-elected. Also, I am concerned that Donald Trump may win the electoral college while losing the popular vote. In that respect, I think the electoral college needs to be abolished (although it would be next to impossible). Regarding what Brave New Films should prioritize: educating the public regarding realistic strategies to update the least democratic institution in U.S. government, the Senate. There needs to be a popular awareness that one-half million North Dakotans have as much representation in the Senate as 33 million Californians – - – if that is not anti-democratic than nothing is. A film regarding a strategy to increase the number of states in order to make the Senate more democratic would be helpful – - – make D.C. a state, split California into three or four states, Texas into two or three states, Florida into two states. All of this would be easier to do than to amend the Constitution. The additional states would be mostly blue and add Democratic votes in the Senate (thereby making the appointment of Supreme Court justices less problematic).

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: Expose the big money that is supporting the fraudulent Trump campaign. His 2016 and 2020 campaigns were also bogus, pathological, full of deception. But now Trump is borderline deranged, unfit for office — yet as of today, he still has big backer cronies and players who are all-in to buy the power of his pen. This is unconscionable and disgraceful. Get these diseased people out of our system. They can participate in it, BUT THEY CANNOT BUY IT. The hottest year ever, ice caps are melting at astonishing rates, the Amazon is scorched and on fire, two wars rage, Sudan is a catastrophe, the global climate tilts toward damage that may be irreversible in the short-term, our government and judiciary has been corrupted/infected by Citizens United, the election and voting system is that of a huge-dollar banana republic — and Trump’s very largest concerns are the ethnicity of the D candidate and his game to escape jail! Bullshit.

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: At this time, even though she was my enemy when she was a prosecutor and I was heavily involved in Decarcerate Tompkins (our county in which we did succeed in preventing the expansion of the county jail) I think all of us need to unite at this time to defeat the Republicans, because the Right would so crazily empowered if Trump wins. I know you probably don’t want to hear this, but other than pushing Kamala for a ceasefire in Gaza and no more US funding for that devastation, I think all of our energy should go into supporting the Harris-Walz ticket. After the election the major issues are investing lots of money in shifting income inequality and fighting climate change aggressively, beginning with whatever can be done to eliminate the power of Big Oil. And young people need meaningful work!!!! My generation has so much do-good creative work opportunities that didn’t pay well but set me up to be loving and hold onto progressive politics….I am talking about arts and crafts programs and drama clubs IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD!!! AND MUSIC EDUCATION FOR ALL CHILDREN. Obviously affordable housing, tax the rich, and everything else you already push for in your great films. Did you know that the Phila. City School District offered free art education in 20 different locations around the city when I was young? (I am 72). And might you highlight the long-standing great work of Housing works?

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: I am most concerned about the disinformation and hate being spread by Trump and his followers. I think the electoral college is out of date and needs to be abolished. I think members of the Supreme Court have proven they can be bought and have no integrity. And I definitely think we could have a repeat of the Jan 6th insurrection attempt after the election results are in and hopefully Trump loses again.

Q: How are you feeling about the 2024 election?
A: I am sick and tired of the knee jerk left and the knee jerk right dominating the conversation. Democracy is on trial, but its not all about Donald Trump. Its about two corporate political parties who both want to send our jobs overseas, destroy the First Amendment under some guise of “fake news” whenever someone says something outside of the mainstream narrative and we are held captive by someone in the White House who has been incompetent to govern for years yet we’re worried what Trump might do against democracy? The Democratic Party and its propaganda machine (CNN, MSNBC, NY Times and Washington Post) have lied through omission for years as has Fox News. And Brave New Films, instead of breaking new ground, does the same damn thing. I want to hear about how we can build a political party that once again represents the American worker, that wants to rein in the big banks, Big Pharma and Big Media and the other corporate masters that write the script we hear every second. I want our democracy back and clearly its not coming from either big party. 500,000 dead Ukranians because of the US proxy war against Russia, sabre rattling with China, arming and supporting the slaughter of Palestinians and you can only talk about how bad Trump is? I agree he’s bad, but so is the Biden/Harris/Obama team!
