Thank You Abby Phillip, Yamiche Alcindor and April Ryan!

Dear Abby Phillip, Yamiche Alcindor and April Ryan,

Thank you for your commitment to honest reporting on the White House. In spite of the verbal abuse and attempts to silence you, you persisted and asked the Trump administration tough questions to hold them accountable.

You confronted Trump on the Mueller investigation, voter suppression in the midterm elections, and challenged his divisive rhetoric and close ties to white nationalism.

We admire your grit in the face of dismissive and demeaning language, and we appreciate your dedication to keeping the American public informed.

In solidarity,

Your Supporters

History will no doubt refer to that creature in the White House as the first American Nazi President. He abuses women, especially women of color, and yet I have never seen any of these courageous journalists waver or retreat under attack in their quest for truth. That kind of steel isn’t formed without a forge. I so admire these women and their accomplishments. Their grit and grace and determination are the qualities we need in our heroes if America is to survive the internal attacks from Fox, DJT, and Putin.

The unofficial Fourth branch of government is media, which questions (not social media, which postulates). Your questions are vital as you publicly stand in front of the antagonistic, offensive, and accusatory walls of obfuscation that once could have been classified as just politics. At this time you are absolutely the “Open Eyes of the People” not the enemy. Just as we thank our soldiers for protecting our great nation We, the People thank you for your service. You guys are standing tall for all of us and taking unnecessary withering incoming fire that never seems to end as you simply try to do your jobs; which, you each do brilliantly. For this, I thank you. You ARE the front line in defending our country from a creep, and his followers. Your efforts are appreciated, and, will result in brighter days to come. You all have earned my BRAVO! award. Please keep up the great work you each are doing and May God bless you!

Being attacked by tRump is a badge of honor, and proves you are doing your job of asking him tough questions that the American people need him to answer. Thank you for your courage and professionalism.

I am sorry that our President, who is supposed to represent and respect all Americans, does neither when it comes

to you all, who are guarding the thin line of truth from his corrosive and vituperative prevarication.

This president likes to interrupt the questioner. When a reporter asks a follow up question with the initial question, he only ‘answers’ the first, interrupting the reporter. He’s an angry, hateful man. Unfortunately his followers are also.

Please standby. We are having psychotic and racial difficulties with our President. We will return you to normal leadership as soon as 2020, I hope.

You ladies absolutely rock! Thank you for being the frontline defense. Thank you for being a role model to both young women coming up and us old ladies who sometimes need a reminder.
