Brian Redondo is a documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. As an editor, he has cut character-driven, issue-focused films including upcoming feature documentaries Beyond Bars: A Son's Fight for Justice, about the life of progressive District Attorney Chesa Boudin, and Death & Taxes about wealth inequality in America. He has also explored race, identity, and global history as editor and producer on the HBO Max docuseries Take Out with Lisa Ling, Netflix's Explained, and PBS' Artbound. Brian was also the former Senior Video Editor at The New Yorker, where he brought the magazine's signature nonfiction storytelling to short-form video, including on the Emmy-award winning short Re-educated.
