Voter suppression takes many forms - polling place closures, voter purges, missing absentee ballots, extreme wait times, a host of voter ID issue and gerrymandering (drawing unfair district boundaries). Join us for a screening of "Suppressed: The Fight to Vote" - the personal stories of voters in Georgia's 2018 elections.

Write and Inform

We'll continue writing postcards to Georgia. Sister District is conducting a "Two Primaries Voter Education Study". Florida, Georgia and Minnesota hold presidential and state primaries on different days. This study will mainly test if voter education/get-out-the-vote postcards around the primary elections increase voter turnout in both primary elections. We'll have supplies or you can bring your own. One request - contributions at the meeting would be greatly appreciated for postcards and postcard stamps.
