Thank You Abby Phillip, Yamiche Alcindor and April Ryan!

Dear Abby Phillip, Yamiche Alcindor and April Ryan,

Thank you for your commitment to honest reporting on the White House. In spite of the verbal abuse and attempts to silence you, you persisted and asked the Trump administration tough questions to hold them accountable.

You confronted Trump on the Mueller investigation, voter suppression in the midterm elections, and challenged his divisive rhetoric and close ties to white nationalism.

We admire your grit in the face of dismissive and demeaning language, and we appreciate your dedication to keeping the American public informed.

In solidarity,

Your Supporters

I shudder to think where we would be without you. I know you will continue to hold this President accountable. His insults and tweets are childish and laced with fear. Especially when directed at reporters with the integrity and credentials as you three women. Keep up the good work. We need you now more than ever.

Dear Ms. Phillip, Ms. Alcindor and Ms. Ryan,

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your persistence, professionalism and dignity when confronted with personal verbal assaults by those who wish to silence a free press. Your work is vital to our democracy. Your presence affirms and celebrates the work so many did before us to give the disenfranchised power and legitimacy in American society. Your work shines a light in spaces that would otherwise remain in darkness. I join the millions of others who stand behind you when you bravely hold your ground and shine your light in those dark spaces.

    With gratitude,

    Kathleen Strain

Thank you for putting yourself out in front. It seems we have lost our way, no longer listening, processing various points of view, and finally compromising to arrive at mutually beneficial and inclusive solutions. The office of our Presidency should take the lead in such processes, but in a vacuum, it falls others like you willing to shed light and stimulate thoughtful discussion. Thank you.
